Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch, an American comedy actress and TV host is well known for her time as host on Dinner and a Movie. In addition, she has been an active advocate for environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic of her autobiography Wherever you go Then They Are I see you made an Effort. It's Tomato. I Say Shutup, and I Fired. It was also a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the longest-running host of TBS's Dinner & a Movie and TV viewers will remember her unforgettable appearances on shows such as Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown and as the host of the series on sustainability WA$TED, which aired on The Planet Green Network. She is a regular guest in PBS Newhour Real Time with Bill Maher and on NPR in addition to writing opinion pieces for the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satire for The New Yorker and McSweeeneys. The New York Times, as well Los Angeles Times have ranked her among their annual Top Ten performance of the year in her performance on stage.
