Candice King is an American actress. She reached the top of Hollywood's ladder following her role as Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice King started her acting career in the beginning of the 1990s when she was a musician. She released her first album"It's Always the Innocent in United States', in 2009. Twelve of the fourteen songs in the album were written by her. The artist was also working simultaneously on her acting and being a guest on two TV shows, including How I Met Your Mother. Although her acting career was smoothly, a breakthrough didn't come to her until she was cast as a character on the CW show The Vampire Diaries. Almost instantly the show made her a household name. Candice's performance was lauded for her performance. The role she played was reprised the show's 171 episodes over eight seasons. The Originals was her spin-off, which aired in 2018; Legacies was followed by 2021.
